Comparing years 2005 vs. 2006 in Worcester, single family, multi family and condominiums from January 1 - December 26th, here are the results. In 2005 - 2,431 sold properties with a median price of $245,000 and an average price of $253,939. In 2006 - 1,888 sold properties with a median price of $236,500 and an average price of $244,122. This is a great time for buyers with left over fall inventory still on the market and favorable rates, sellers are ready for fair offers and willing to negotiate. The market has stabilized and alot of inventory has recently gone under agreement especially with the mild weather.
